Hi there! I’m Betty, and I’m so glad you’re here. I live in sunny Los Angeles, California, and I’m currently on a big adventure—working towards buying my own piece of land to build a homestead from the ground up. Though this is a new chapter for me, homesteading is in my blood. Many of my family members have created their own self-sufficient homes, and their stories have inspired me to take the leap into this lifestyle.

When I’m not searching for land or planning my next homesteading project, you’ll find me indulging in a few of my favorite hobbies: welding, baking, and anything DIY. I love working with my hands, whether I’m crafting something useful or whipping up a delicious treat in the kitchen.
